Behavioral Health Information Network Of Arizona Launches Statewide Information Exchange

The Behavioral Health Information Network of Arizona (BHINAZ) recently launched a statewide behavioral health information exchange (HIE). BHINAZ is using an open source application, Mirth Connect,  to connect with all certified electronic health record (EHR) systems used by BHINAZ member organizations.  As of April 2014, five agencies are connected, and three more are in the process of connecting.
