North Carolina Proposes Investing $1 Billion To Strengthen Behavioral Health System
On March 8, 2023, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper released a proposal to invest $1 billion to strengthen the state’s behavioral health system. The focus is on increasing access to a broader array of public behavioral health services, including crisis response and supports for people with complex behavioral needs.
