Casey Foundation’s (The Foundation’s) probation transformation initiative, according to the organization’s annual report. In total, 30 jurisdictions have adopted the Foundation’s probation transformation approach.

Of the 73 sites participating in the Foundation’s Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI), detention admissions fell 17% from 2020 through 2025. The JDAI is focused on safely reducing the number of youths entering juvenile detention.
