Pennsylvania Launches PA CareKit To Support Unpaid Caregivers 

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) launched PA CareKit, a new interactive product and outreach campaign, to support the state’s 1.5 million unpaid caregivers, including spouses, adult children, grandparents raising grandchildren, and other helpers. The PA CareKit is a collection of tools, information, and support to help caregivers learn more and plan for the future. It provides training, connections to respite services, and personalized tools.

In May 2023, Governor Josh Shapiro directed the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to develop a 10-year plan, which was released in May 2024. The plan is intended to prepare for projected growth . . .
