U.S. Per Capita Health Spending In Expansion & Non-Expansion States Grew At Similar Rates In 2014
In 2014, total per capita health care spending increased by similar amounts in states that expanded Medicaid and states that did not, at 4.4% and 4.5% respectively. The growth rate in per capita personal health care spending in 2014 was lowest in New Hampshire at 2.4% and highest in Oregon at 7.7%.
