Rhode Island recently unveiled a five-year update to its state plan to improve access to dementia care as well as improve quality of life for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, and their caregivers. The Rhode Island Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) State Plan describes the Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) Roadmap and goals related to the roadmap related to the primary goal of empowering all individuals impacted by dementia to achieve their best quality of life.
