U.S. 2015 Health Care Spending Hits $3.2 Trillion, Up 5.8% Over 2014
In 2015, health care spending in the United States reached $3.2 trillion, up 5.8% over the $3.03 trillion spent in 2014. Per capita spending on health care in 2015 was $9,990, up 5% over the $9,523 per capita in 2014. The $3.2 trillion represents 17.8% of the U.S. gross domestic product.
