146 Acquisitions Of Digital Health Companies In 2015

During the first nine months of 2015,  there were 146 acquisitions of digital health companies providing ehealth, telemedicine, population health management, or health analytics.  Of the 146 acquisitions, transaction values totaling $5.1 billion were disclosed for 44. About a quarter of the acquisitions involved electronic medical record and clinical workflow solutions. About 26% of the target companies were acquired by companies outside of health care.
