Universal Health Services Creates Primary Care Service Line With Vera Whole Health

On May 29, 2019, Universal Health Services (UHS) announced a partnership with Vera Whole Health (Vera) to provide advanced primary care services at "Prominence Care Centers." The Prominence Care Centers provide a full service, face-to-face care model that features health coaching and consumer engagement for preventive, acute, and chronic care management. The centers are stand-alone medical campuses open only to members of Prominence Health Plan, a UHS subsidiary.
