Veterans Administration To Launch Community Care Network In 2018

In 2018, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) plans to launch a Community Care Network (CCN) that will provide veterans with access to care through community-based health care professionals. The CCN will serve veterans living outside the local catchment area for VHA-run facilities; it will also serve veterans within the catchment areas who cannot obtain timely appointments at the local VHA-run facility. Veterans who qualify will have access to participating CCN provider organizations for medical, behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and other benefits.
