Virginia Awards Statewide Family Network Services Contract To NAMI Virginia
On August 28, 2017, the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DHBDS) awarded the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Virginia a contract to provide a statewide Virginia Family Network. Under this contract, NAMI Virginia will provide peer support and education for families and caregivers of youth and young adults up to age 25 who have behavioral health problems to help the youth access community-based mental health and addiction treatment services.
