WellCare Creates Partnership With VillageMD To Provide Members With In-Home Primary Care

On May 6, 2019 WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (WellCare) and VillageMD announced a partnership to offer in-home primary care to improve access to health care for medically-complex seniors in the Houston,Texas area.Through the multi-year partnership,VillageMD will provide primary care services through its Village@Home business unit. Village@Home integrates pharmaceutical needs, nursing services, and social worker needs through a home-based program.
