Butler County, Ohio sought a program administrator for its Elderly Services Program. administrator has three roles: financial management, oversight and operations management for the program, and contracting for the delivery of services. The administrator cannot provide any direct care services beyond intake assessment and case management. The system of home-based care includes personal care, delivered meals, homemaker activities, service tasks, relief assistance for resident individual caregivers, minor home modifications, emergency repairs, intake and assessment, and case management. The contract was awarded to Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio.
