Texas Senate Bill 589 Of 2017, Relating To The Licensing & Regulation Of Behavior Analysts & Assistant Behavior Analysts

On June 26, 2017, Texas enacted Senate Bill 589 of 2017 to license and regulate behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts. The state will require behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts to obtain occupational licenses and will impose licensing fees. The legislation goes into effect September 1, 2017.
