CMS Approval Of Extension For NJ FamilyCare Comprehensive Medicaid Waiver
On July 27, 2017, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved New Jersey's Medicaid 1115 waiver extension request for the NJ FamilyCare Comprehensive Medicaid Waiver. The extension is effective from August 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022. The extension allows the state to continue its Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) program, Supports Program, Autism Spectrum Disorder Program and the Intellectual Developmental Disability Programs.
