On September 30, 2019, the United States Congress released H.R. 1058, or the “Autism Collaboration, Accountability, Research, Education, and Support Act of 2019," an act which amends the Public Health Service Act to enhance activities of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with respect to research on autism spectrum disorder and enhance programs relating to autism, and for other purposes.
