Statewide KanCare Satisfaction Survey Findings, Sponsored By Families For KanCare Reform & Life Centers Of Kansas
On November 21, 2017, these results of a satisfaction survey for KanCare were released. The survey was initially conducted in September 2017 for KanCare Reform and Life Centers Of Kansas. The survey findings conclude that Targeted Case Managers (TCMs) are more knowledgeable, experienced, and trained toward meeting the needs of the surveyed population; that TCM case loads are typically in the low to mid-30s compared to care coordinators (CCs) who have 150-200 cases; and recommend that KanCare carve out long-term supports and services and allow trained specialists to manage them.
