Resources For Human Development To Close Rhode Island I/DD Day Program
Effective September 30, 2020, non-profit Resources for Human Development (RHD) will close its Rhode Island day program serving more than 100 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The organization provides an art-based program, community-based school services, and/or skill acquisition services. RHD is working with the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals to find the participants placements with other provider organizations.
