Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made the news with his announcement of major new funding for autism and other disabilities (see;Desantis Holds News Conference In Jupiter). The $2.2;billion;in funding will;go toward the iBudget waiver managed by Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Over;$120 million will support increased enrollment;in the waiver program;and another $241 million will support community provider;organizations, targeted;projects and a sensory friendly recreational;complex called the “Els Center of Excellence”;(see;The Els Center Of Excellence).
