As of June 29, 2020, about 3% of Pennsylvania child care provider organizations (125 organizations) intended to close due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) challenges. Another 14% were at risk of closing without financial assistance to offset ongoing costs of implementing COVID-19 guidelines and reduced enrollments.
