On September 2, 2021, Sandata Technologies LLC announced it was awarded a contract for California's electronic visit verification (EVV)  Phase II Project of the California Medicaid EVV initiative, which includes personal care services (PCS) and home health care services (HHCS) for several home- and community-based services (HCBS) programs and waivers. Sandata’s fixed rate of $32 million contract runs for five years, followed by a pair of two-year optional terms, for a maximum nine-year contract term.
