Feds Claim Maryland Owes $34.2 Million In Repayments For Unallowable Medicaid Costs For I/DD Population
In a June 2015 report, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General claimed that Maryland owes the federal government $34.2 million for unallowable add-on services provided to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) enrolled in the state’s 1515(c) Community Pathways waiver between July 2010 and June 2013.
