Mercy Care and Mercy Maricopa, Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) in Phoenix, Arizona, launched four Centers of Excellence for beneficiaries of any age diagnosed with autism. The centers opened in October 2017 to provide integrated physical and behavioral health services—including evidence-based early intervention and treatment for autism— for Mercy Maricopa and Mercy Care members of all ages living with or at risk for autism.
