The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is newly adopting the HOMEBUILDERS® family preservation program. MDHHS recently awarded $9 million for three-year contracts with Samaritas ($7.9 million) and Wellspring Lutheran Services ($1.1 million). The two organizations will implement HOMEBUILDERS® as a new service in seven counties: Calhoun, Ingham, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Kent, Muskegon, and Wayne.
