Opportunity Partners To Change Hiring Practices Following Minnesota Disability Discrimination Settlement
Opportunity Partners, a large disability services provider organization in Minnesota, agreed on October 31 to change its hiring practices to settle allegations of disability discrimination. The settlement was in response to a 2016 filing by the Minnesota Department Of Human Rights (DHR). Going forward, Opportunity Partners will ensure that anyone who receives job supports or other services will be considered for employment, regardless of their disability or status as a recipient of disability services.
