Half Of Adolescents In Medicaid Have Annual Well-Care Visits
As of November 2019, states in the United States show a 48.9% median rate for adolescent well-care visits. Connecticut has the highest rate of 70.9%, while West Virginia has the lowest rate of 23.3%. Annual well-care visits during adolescence promote healthy behaviors, prevent risky ones, and detect conditions that can interfere with physical, social, and emotional development.
