UPMC Uses Voice Tool To Generate Post Virtual Visit Summaries
On May 20, 2020, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a large health system serving western Pennsylvania, announced that its physicians were using a voice tool called Abridge to generate post-visit summaries for consumers following a telephone encounter. Consumers can also download the Abridge application to their smartphones or tablets to record in-person or video appointments.
