On January 22, 2021, the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) launched a new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination plan for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are residents of group homes and supervised living arrangements. Under the state’s priority designations, group home residents are priority 1A, and can be vaccinated anywhere. The new option is called the “Walmart COVID-19 Vaccine Closed-POD Program.”
