U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Secure De-Duplication Tool for HIV Surveillance Grant. The purpose of this grant is to develop and provide access to a privacy data-sharing tool that identifies potential duplicates across 59 jurisdictions; allow for secure, encrypted submission and matching of person-level HIV surveillance data; ensure data security, confidentiality, and privacy per CDC standards; recruit and negotiate with the 59 jurisdictions to participate; and provide them a report on matching levels.
