Changing The Culture Of Access & Performance: The Diversus Health Case Study

September 11, 2025

1:00 – 2:00 pm ET

Performance transparency should be a strategic pillar, yet many provider organizations struggle with the culture shift necessary to make performance-based initiatives work. As a result, efforts to align and track staff performance with the organization’s strategic goals can fall behind what they need to achieve to be successful.

During this one-hour live presentation, Kevin Light, Chief Operations Officer, and Katie Blickenderfer, Chief Clinical Officer, will walk through Diversus Health’s shift toward a performance-based culture that reframed how clinical value is measured, delivered, and rewarded.

They will discuss how Diversus Health implemented a performance-based incentive model for outpatient clinical providers, redefining expectations around caseload management, scheduling, and individual accountability. The speakers will also discuss their crucial insight: for performance-based models to succeed, alignment is essential. Clinical, operational, and financial leaders must speak the same language, focused on access, retention, and sustainability.

Executive attendees of this session will:

  • Gain a high-level understanding of the key components of a performance-based incentive payment model for outpatient clinical providers.
  • Learn how to analyze the impact of incentive models on clinical provider behavior, including changes in caseload management, scheduling practices, and performance goal setting.
  • Evaluate the alignment of an executive team (clinical, operational, and financial) and drive outcomes such as increased access to care, improved staff retention, and long-term business sustainability.
