Adopting Technology That Works: Real-World Case Studies In Documentation & Workforce Engagement

April 30, 2026

1:00 – 2:00 pm ET

Investment in technology is critical for successful strategies and operations in the health and human services market. But walking that path successfully hinges on the C-suite’s ability to align all tech investments in a way that meets the organization’s strategic needs and delivers a return on investment (ROI). That will take successful planning, budgeting, implementation, and the ability to overcome foreseeable challenges.

During this one-hour live presentation, Diana K. Awde, Chief Information Officer at My Health My Resources of Tarrant County (MHMR), will share two case studies showing how MHMR used technology to improve its clinical documentation quality and strengthen its employee engagement.

The first case study will look at how MHMR addressed inconsistent documentation quality and time-consuming note-writing requirements with the adoption of Bells AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) documentation assistant with integrated scribe functionality. Ms. Awde will show how this adoption strengthened continuity of care, provided more timely information to teams, alleviated staff frustration, improved employee retention rates, and delivered meaningful financial gains that contributed to organizational sustainability.

In the second case study, Ms. Awde will share how MHMR replaced fragmented, paper-based, and memory-dependent processes with a digital coaching and engagement application designed to enhance communication, professional development, and alignment between staff and leadership. The platform, which allows leaders to collaborate with staff to track strengths, growth opportunities, SMART goals, and ongoing performance conversations, has led to better staff engagement, stronger retention, and a more cohesive organizational culture.

Executive attendees of this session will:

  • Understand how AI-enabled documentation tools can improve clinical efficiency, accuracy, and service capacity while supporting organizational sustainability.
  • Identify strategies for strengthening employee engagement and development through digital coaching platforms that support a culture of accountability.
  • Apply a practical framework for adopting and implementing technology so that it aligns with an organization’s business needs, technology capabilities, and long-term strategy.
