Ohio Department of Mental Health seeks a contractor to provide pre-admission screening resident review (PASRR) Level II. The three goals of the program are to ensure individuals with mental illness in Medicaid-funded nursing facilities are being adequately diagnosed and treated in the most appropriate and least restrictive setting; to ensure those with mental illness or a developmental disability only (and no substantial physical problems) are not being warehoused in nursing facilities; and to ensure the federal government is not paying for long term care of the mentally ill or developmentally disabled in nursing facilities if such individuals do . . .
