Texas Office for Prevention of Developmental Disabilities seeks a contractor to decrease the incidence of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders by implementing an evidence-based program to eliminate alcohol exposed pregnancy among women of childbearing age in substance abuse treatment and intervention programs. The specific target population is women between the ages of 15 and 44 years, who are fertile, who are not permanently sterilized by medical intervention, who consume alcohol at risky levels, and who do not practice effective family planning.
