Texas Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, seeks a Deafness Resource Specialist for the purpose of facilitating access to services of federal, state and local governments, and organizations and private entities for persons who are unserved and underserved and who are deaf or hard of hearing. The program assists consumers who are deaf, hard of hearing or late deafened and their service providers by sharing information about services available, providing training and referral as necessary to better ensure needed services are received.
