Iowa Department of Education awarded a contract to University of Minnesota to identify professional development needs of parents to support the successful transition of their youth with disabilities. University of Minnesota will meet with project staff, identify outcome indicators, design data collection procedures (including sampling) and instrumentation to survey parents, collect data, and analyze and interpret data (including data from extant data bases). Contract period is August 25, 2008 through July 30, 2009. Contract amount is $33,057. DeYoung Consulting Services, as well as WestEd, responded to this solicitation.
