Vermont Department of Health (VDH) seeks a contractor to review and code fetal deaths on a quarterly basis for the Vital RecordsÕ office. The contractor shall provide a trained and experienced Nosologist that will receive fetal death reports, review cause-of-death information, and identify the appropriate ICD-10 code for the underlying cause-of-death based on the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Procedures for Coding Fetal Cause of Death (1989 Revision).
