Texas' Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) seeks a contractor to provide counseling services in order to deliver necessary treatment for abused, neglected, or exploited Adult Protective Services (APS) clients. The purpose of this procurement is to provide a method for DFPS to contract with eligible providers for the purchase of Counseling Services that can enable DFPS to provide stabilization of acute mental health issues resulting from abuse, neglect, or exploitation and/or utilize crisis intervention techniques to allow the client to stabilize both their physical and mental health needs, thereby remedying past abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
