New York State Office of Mental Health seeks a contractor to develop and operate 250 units of supported housing for persons with serious mental illness in New York City under the NY/NY III initiative. Funding is available to provide rental assistance, contingency funds, and support services. The target populations are chronically homeless single adults who have a serious mental illness or who are diagnosed as mentally ill and chemically addicted and single adults who are presently living in New York State-operated psychiatric centers, State-operated community residences, or transitional residences.
