Iowa Department of Elder Affairs awarded a contract to Greater Iowa Chapter of the AlzheimerÕs Association to create and implement a replicable, evidence-based, educational, training curriculum about AlzheimerÕs disease and similar forms of irreversible dementias for caregivers of persons afflicted with such conditions. Contract period is July 7, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Contract amount is $182,350. Iowa Respite Crisis Care Coalition also responded to this solicitation.
