Illinois Department of Public Health awarded a contract to ProCare Direct LLC, dba CVS Caremark to administer the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and to act as packaging/dispensing agent to provide state pharmaceutical care services via mail-order to approved participants for drugs related to the treatment of HIV/AIDS-related diseases which have been purchased by the Department. Contract period is July 6, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Contract amount is $18,000,000. Sav-RX Chicago, Inc.; and Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, LLC also responded to this solicitation.
