District of Columbia's Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments seeks a contractor to provide alternative models for providing demand responsive services to people with disabilities. The contractor will identify service delivery models and funding mechanisms and develop alternate models for the provision of specialized transportation services. The contractor will also identify responsive and cost?effective organization and financing arrangements with which to meet the transportation needs of persons with disabilities, and provide specific recommendations for a coordination pilot program in Suburban Maryland, designed to enable non?profit or local government human service and/or transportation agencies to provide transportation services . . .
