New York Department of Homeless Services (DHS) seeks a contractor to operate and manage two city-owned single room occupancy residences located in the Bronx. The purpose is to provide permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals referred by DHS or DHS-approved referral sources, who are capable of independent living; provide ongoing social services that will enable the diverse tenant population to maintain a stable residence at the facility and in the community; and provide capable management of 150-200 unit building(s) to ensure the safety of the tenants and habitability of the facility . . .
