U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases announces the availability of funding for implementation of the B Cell Help Immunology Program for AIDS Vaccine Strategies (R01) Grant. The purpose of this grant is to support multidisciplinary projects that define the role(s) played by innate immunity and T cells in shaping the B cell response to HIV-1 antigens; and identify strategies to modulate innate immune mechanisms and T cell differentiation pathways to optimize B cell helper functions for enhancing HIV-1 vaccines and generating long-term memory . . .
