U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Role of the Microbiome in HIV-1 Vaccine Responses (R01) Grant. The purpose of this grant is to stimulate research focused on elucidating the role of the microbiome in shaping the host immune responses to HIV-1 transmission and vaccination in the gastrointestinal and genital mucosa.
