U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Human Genome Research Institute announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Centers for Mendelian Genomics (UM1) Grant. The purpose of this grant is to discover as many genes that bear causal genetic variants for human Mendelian diseases and non-disease Mendelian traits as possible, using genome-wide sequencing and other complementary genomic approaches at the funded centers, and through collaborations with clinical and genetic researchers worldwide.
