Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) seeks a contractor to provide Family Based Safety Services (FBSS) and corresponding Court-related Services. FBSS consists of the contracted casework necessary to plan, deliver, and coordinate services to ensure child health and safety. DFPS contracts for FBSS to reach families and children who need such services when the DFPS lacks the resources to provide them directly. The goal of FBSS is to protect children from abuse and neglect by improving child safety and family functioning, increase the number of families who receive services when the risk of child abuse or neglect . . .
