U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Alcohol-Induced Effects on Tissue Injury and Repair (R21) Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant. The purpose of this grant is to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of tissue injury and repair associated with alcohol use in humans. The R21 exploratory/developmental grant supports investigation of novel scientific ideas or new model systems, tools, or technologies that have the potential for significant impact on elucidating mechanisms of alcohol behavior change with the primary goals . . .
