Heart of Texas Workforce Solutions seeks a contractor to provide summer youth employment programs that will provide work readiness and/or work experience to youth. Program activities are in three different components: Marketing-Outreach-Recruitment; Summer Employment-Work Readiness; and Worksite Development-Monitoring-Timesheets. A contractor must bid on all components but may form a partnership to meet all three. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) administered by the United States Department of Labor shall fund this program through the American Recovery and Reemployment Act (ARRA) passed by Congress.
