New York's Suffolk County Department of Probation seeks a contractor to implement and manage the educational component of the Juvenile Day Reporting Center Program (JDRC). This program targets adjudicated youths between the ages 13-17 years of age as a dispositional alternative and/or those youths who are in "violation of probation" status. The educational component of the JDRC Program must provide a multitude of sensory and learning modalities that are not present in traditional classroom settings and must enhance the youthÕs ability to acquire life skills while satisfying compliance with current New York State Learning Standards . . .
