U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases announces the availability of funding for implementation of the HIV Vaccine Vector-Host Interactions: Understanding the Biology and Immunology (R21) Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant. The purpose of this grant is to develop improved safety models to assess the potential vaccine-related effects such as increased HIV infection rates due to immune activated vector-specific HIV target cells.
